Info on the Knob And Lens of Truth Prices

Alright, I'm sure most of you know I'm great at prices by now, so I think it's only right to inform my loyal readers of the prices that will be rising and falling throughout V.26. Let's start with the Knob and Lens of Truth, since the Lens of Truth is the newest staff in the game (I was the 2nd person to ever hold a Lens of Truth, and the first one to ever kill anything with it =P). Anyway, to start, the Knob staff is an ingridient of the Lens of Truth, which everyone will be crafting because obtaining a knob is the most difficult to obtain ingridient of the Lens, so once people get one, they will most likely instantly craft an LoT (Lens of Truth). with all of these LoTs being made, and all of the Knob's being used to make LoTs, the number of Knobs will decrease drastically. Eventually, the knobs will go way up since they are so hard to get your hands on, and the LoT, will drop down to about 100-150k since there are so many. People will begin getting new knobs from Apozen, but not crafting them into LoTs, so LoT will become more rare, and knobs will become more common, which will make people start using their Knobs to make LoTs...again. until there are again so few knobs that the knob price will skyrocket again, and the LoTs will drop. This will go back and forth until, eventually, they both even out. With this knowledge, you should begin stocking up on Knobs, and sell them when the time is right, then buy an LoT cheap, and sell it when the time is right, and repurchase a Knob. Just a bit of advice from a master of prices, stocks, and merchanting, use these price bumps to your advantage, and become rich easily =P Good luck...

No Chaos Spawns (Blueluna Story)

Yea, there were no chaos spawns on October 5th. I think this may be because last time we had Chaos Spawns (over a year ago) he supposedly "fell asleep" (Cut the guy some slack it was his Birthday) and left the Chaos Spawns running about 3 times longer than he planned. This could mean he's skipping the next 2 years purposely, to make up for leaving them on. For those of you who don't know, last time there were Chaos Spawns, when Vult left them on for a long time, there was a glitch since the chaos spawns made endless extremely unstable.

Here's the BlueLuna Glitch story (most people thought it was duping, but it wasn't)

Blueluna was in the Desert, going to buy potions from the nomad. Strangely, it said she had no room. She looked through at her inventory and she was -- way... overweight. The lag caused by the chaos spawns had glitched a simple scarf into an 11-digit number (yes, although the chaos spawns only spawned in Aeven, they caused lag thoughout the whole game, remember the server was unstable at just 200 people back then, and i'm sure you can imagine how many people logged on when their friends told them what was going on)! Anyway, Blueluna began dropping the scarves by the millions (the max number droppable) behind the nomad's house, but she just couldn't drop them all. She began to sell them at the Aeven hat shop, and gained 1.8bil. (damn, who knew Fred the hat man had that kind of money!?) Instead of hording all of that money to herself, she gave it away to her friends. She gave a huge majority of it to her husband, Snafoo. She also made BL (Bluelunatics) A guild that grew at an amazing rate, taking 1st place in the top guilds list in around a week! (Paperclip and berdy were also leaders of this guild) however, soon, Vult discovered what had happened, but he (supposedly) thought that this was the work of dupers. He took away all of Blueluna and her friends' money, but strangely, Snafoo still had his. Blueluna, being Snafoo's wife (hence the title "snafoo's wifey"), took Some of the money off of his account, and he "flipped out on her". They are no longer together, but Snafoo still has a huge amount of the money. Although it was only Blueluna who had gotten the glitch, this glitch would be the glitch to change eo forever... Most of the richest people in eo were just lucky friends of Blueluna's who had gotten lucky. (I think Berdy May be one of them, although it's not right to make assumptions, he was one of BL's original leaders who still has a large amount of money) (many other people were affected by this, even if they weren't given their share from Blueluna. Some won BL events, and some got money easily by selling or doing something for another person who was gifted with the money.)

Well, that's the story, just in case you didn't know. Most people believe Blueluna was just a duper, but now you know the true story. it was all a glitch, and one of the most severe glitches to ever occur in eo. Good for some, bad for some. Chaos Spawns

*sigh* I'm disapointed by how newby endless got, but apparently no one on global has even heard of a chaos spawn before. So I'm posting the picture of a chaos spawn on my blog so no one will ever have to ask me again. The chaos spawns started spawning in endless exactly a year ago. Chaos spawns were fairly easy to kill back then, but that's because there were no stats. Now, since there are stats, the chaos spawns may be extremely difficult to kill. They give out only 15 EXP per kill, but if you're lucky, you may get a dark blade drop, even though it's very uncommon. Last year duing the chaos spawn event on Vult-r's birthday, he forgot to turn the chaos spawns off, so they were around longer than he planned, and about 3 times more dark blades dropped than intended to. The Dark blade's price dropped to about 1k, and was a very easy thing to buy, however, with time, the newbs who got the darkblades began quitting, and it quickly became a rare and expensive item, easily selling for up to 1 mil. The chaos spawns have not spawned since, but who knows? The day's not over...

Vult-r's Birthday

Apparently, I'm the only one who remembered... I woke up at about 5:00am just to get on in time for the event I was expecting... but it wasn't there. I asked around on global, and apparently the newbs even played for a year so they had no clue what I was talking about, and some of them even asked: "Who's Vult-r?" Anyway, if you're wondering ehat's so special about Vult-r's birthday, you should know, this day should determine the prices of Dark Blades forever. There are few things possible, but only one will happen.

Possibilty 1: Vult will release the chaos spawns, and dark blades will drop, both with the fact they will drop every year, and the fact that Vult might forget and leave the event running about 3 extra hours again, and they could all hit 1k. This did happen before, but they went back up again slowly with the fact that his birthday was far behind and a lot of people with dark blades were quitting, since many newbs who quit got darkblades as well, because there were no stats back then, and everyone was equally strong. Another possibilty, since there are stats now, and a lot of weak monsters are much more powerful and humans a lot weaker, it might be nearly impossible to kill chaos spawns, and very few will drop before the event is over, and they will stay somewhat the same price.

Possibilty 2: Vult will not release the chaos spawns, and dark blades will not drop today. This means the dark blades will not only stay high, but raise when people realize this is not a yearly thing, and they may never drop again.

So those of you with darkblades, which one do you think is most likely? Well, pick one fast, because this event could still happen, and that may determine the price.

Gnolls?

Yep, apparently a new boss in eo, the gnoll, was originally named the Frog Gladiator, but for an unknown reason was renamed A Gnoll. Anyway, the Gnoll is a kind of Endless Boss who spawns once at a time, like apozen, the reaper, and so on. The gnoll is like the new reaper, and dies pretty fast with all of the people around him. There is a kind of triangular pattern to where he spawns, and you will see this, because the whole crowd moves as one. Spawning around the gnoll, like the vyercils around the reaper, are flying eyes. I can't remember what they were called, but they are somewhat difficult to kill, and don't give very much EXP. They aren't too strong alone, but watch out for them in groups.

Plaot Robes

Waiting for V.26 to come out, the plaot robes look really cool. It's fun to sit down and disguise your self as a royal boot when apozen's coming after you on test server -- I guess Apozen doesn't like shoes, very much though... =( If only he knew the joys of a squishy shoe... The picture on the Left isn't me, it was taken directly from the test server home page, but, Plaot robes are only 5k in the Aeven Armor shop, so don't worry about getting one. Single Again
